I used the photos of Takeshi Shikama as inspiration for these photos. I took these photos of basic trees and other plants since Shikama seemed to mostly take a lot of nature photos. I did not use a specific photo of his, but since a lot of them were tree trunks, I mostly took photos of trees. I took these photos on Sunday night of May 10, 2020. They were all taken at home since nature was right outside in my backyard and front yard. I picked this photographer because it was not something that I could not do, but the editing took a very long time. Because he used many different kinds of vintage cameras, I tried to diversify the different kinds of black and white. The black and white was not even a regular kind, but rather on the warm toned side which made it so much more difficult. I did have fun and am pleased with the results, but it did take up a lot of time. I really did my bests to mimic the effects of a vintage camera.
