The film Everybody Street shows the difficulties of being a street photographer. However, within those struggles and hardships the photographers experience, there is always something beautiful they find. There is beauty within the beast. “Sometimes, the beast was beautiful”.

Being a photographer is not something to take lightly, especially when it is done to show everyday-life. I think it takes a lot of courage to do things like street photography, considering the very unpredictable environment. Some of the best photos come from going out of your comfort zone and putting yourself in harm’s way. At the same time, though, unpredictable times is what is needed to take a one-of-a-kind photo. The photos these people take are so pleasing to see and really makes you admire their hard work.

I took these photos at night because I felt that it would be best for the light to illuminate in a darker setting. I did not really have any idea as to what I was doing, but I ended up with these photos, so it was what I used: light switch is on, the light itself is lit up. I took these on February 23rd. There is not particularly a who, but rather a what, which is the light switch as well as the hanging light.

The photographers in the video talked a lot about seeing things and capturing the moment in order for the audience or reader to visually see. There were a lot of photographers who talked about the power of still images and how that power then emits powerful emotions. What people feel when they see their photos depends on the person, which is another beautiful thing about photography. However, in order to evoke any kind of emotion, the photos need to be “great”. They also talk about how inspiration does not stop as a creator because there is constantly things to capture everywhere. There is always something going on and without photos, the world would not be able to know what happened at any period of time. Photos are able to give a tangible view of history, which is so important. Being a photographer means having to take risks, which I find thrilling. Art in general allows the artist to go explore new places and see certain details that have gone unnoticed.
